While Sands’s family is speaking out as the search on california’s mount badly enters the eleventh day, and another hiker goes missing too.
Sand’s wife, Eugenia Citkowitz first reported about missing of sand, after embarking on a hike on the treacherous southern california mountain on jan 13.
A twitter post shared by yhe San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department on monday, the Sheriff’s department confirmed that the search for the missing The killing fields actor continues. Added , the department would continue to utilize the resources, it has its own disposal.
Beside the department’s update, it shared a statement from the family of sands who extended their gratitude to the “Heroiv search teams” who continued to aid in the search for thr missing actor sands.
They said ” as we enter 11th day of the search for Julian Sands on Mt Badly, We are rwminded of the sheer determination and selflessness of all of the people who jave aided in this search. We will continue to utilize the resources available for us”..
They added ” wr are deeply touched the outpouring of love and support, our heartfelt thanks to the compassionate members of the san Bernardio Country Sheriff’s Department who are coordinating the search for sands”.

On the other hand san Bernardio County Sheriff’s Department added in an advisory on monday that ” Helicopters and drons continued to use infrared devices to search for julian, so far there hsas been no sign of julian”…
Sheriff’s department stressed in a post shared via Facebook on wednesday that the mountain remains ” adverse and extremely damgerous, Due to the heigh winds and the snow has turned the ice making hiking extremely dangerous”..
Sheriff’s search and rescue efforts are often hampered by poor weather along with dangerous avalanche conditions. The recent storms that brought the snow and ice conditions are not favorable for hikers, even those that feel they have a heigh level of experience all thought.
Department added ” it has respomded to 14 rescue mission on Mt Badly and the surrounding area over the last four weeks. Along with sands and Chungs, official are also searching for another hiker, Bob Gregory , Of Hawthorne and more who has been missing since jan 16, whi he has hiking in the nwarby area of Crystal lake in the sam Gabriel Mountains there.”…
