Bonney Gabriel Miss USA officially crowned for Miss universe 2022 on saturday evening after a grueling competition at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in Louisiana among many audience .

The fashion designer,model and sewing instfuctor from Texas is the first Miss USA as Crowned as Miss universe in past 10 years. The last USA’s contestant to take the crown home was Olivia Culpo in 2012.
Gabriel, 28, beated out runner up Miss Venezuela Amanda Dudamel and second runner up Miss Dominivan Republic Andreina Martinez for the coveted crown prize. Miss india Harnaaz sandhu presented Gabril with her crown as she passed on the little of Miss universe to her successor to next.

Only 20 delegates had the opportunity to compete for the crown out of 84 across the world on 71 miss universe show.

CULPO,30 and JEANNIE MAI JENKINS hosted and led the women through three rounds of competition: swimsuit, evening gown and interview in show .During the final question round, Gabriel was asked “how she would show that Miss universe is ans empowering and progressive organization” If she wines.

She answered “i would use it to be a transformational leader, before discussing her work using recyclee materials in her fashion design, and how she teaches swing to human trafficing and domestic violence survivors.. ” it is most important to invesg in others and use your unique talent to make a difference,” She added ” we all have something special in us, and when we plant those seeds to other people in our life we transform them and we use that as a way for change in our lives. She added during the competition that she hopes that Miss universe would allow women past tha age of 28 to compete in the pageant.

Because ” i am 28 years old and this is the end to compete, she added ” i think this is the beautiful thing, my favorite quote is , ‘if not now then when?'” She added ” i believe age does not define us, it’s just a number.”

She added: “it’s not tomorrow, it’s not yesterday, but it’s now. The time is now that you can go after what you want to do.
